Cucumber Mint Water
Five Heart Home
small cucumber (or half of a medium cucumber), scrubbed & sliced
2 sprigs fresh mint, washed & bruised
1/2 lime, scrubbed & sliced (optional)
10 to 12 cups cool filtered water
Place sliced cucumber, mint sprigs, and lime slices (if using) in a large pitcher. Pour water into the pitcher. Cover and refrigerate for anywhere from 1 to 8 hours (the longer you infuse the water, the stronger the flavor will become). Strain the water into a glass and serve chilled with a slice of cucumber for garnish, if desired.
Coconut Lavender Lemonade
1 1/2 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice from about 9 lemons
1 3/4 cups sugar
8 cups coconut water
4 cups water
1/2 recipe Lavender Simple Syrup (recipe below)
Lavender Simple Syrup Recipe
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups water
3 tablespoons dried lavender
drops of violet food coloring (optional)
Place lemon juice, sugar, coconut water, and water into a pitcher and shake or stir vigorously until all the sugar is dissolved. Confectionalism’s directions suggest we shake because it aerates the lemonade and makes a nice head on top.
Pour 1/2 of the lavender syrup into the pitcher and stir. You can add more or less lavender syrup to your personal taste. Start with 1/2 of the lavender syrup recipe and add more or less to taste.
1 x 750ml bottle of Moscato Rosé Wine (or Pink Moscato)
1 pound | 500 grams SLICED frozen strawberries*
1-2 cups of ice
Using a good quality blender or food processor, blend the wine and strawberries together until smooth and lump free. Check the texture and add in ice cubes (starting with 1 cup), and blend until reaching your desired consistency. We like ours thick, as it melts fast while drinking!
