I am from a small island off the coast of Southern Finland called Åland (The Aland Islands)! 🇦🇽 But I’ve lived in Central Florida for the past eight years ☀️
I started doing nail art pretty early, at the age of eleven, because I loved drawing and because my mom always told me I had beautiful hands and nails! One of the first designs I ever painted on my nails as a tween was actually the American flag (so ambitious, what was I thinking 😂), and I did it all with old goopy nail polishes, a prickly water color brush, and a toothpick. What I would give to have a picture of that mess! When I hit my teens I guess I thought I was too cool for polish so I gave it up, but I picked it back up in college after discovering the nail art community on YouTube and Instagram!
Gradients! A sunset style gradient was actually the first nail art attempt I ever posted on Instagram. I thas since been removed (for obvious reasons…), even though it was on my personal Instagram account, but I did share it in a ”gradient progress” post on my nail art channel, to show my followers that were struggling with gradients that we all started somewhere! I also love freehand painting, that’s the most therapeutic thing in the world to me.
The basics! Black, white, nude/light pink. A good clean base will make your designs pop, guaranteed 👍
Just check my following list on Instagram! I admire everyone on there for different reasons 💕
Not sure how I could ever choose a favorite but I’ll narrow it down to my recent(ish) favorite gradient design and my recent(ish) favorite freehand design!

Heroine NYC's Dream Cremes Collection polishes are hands down my favorites for gradients!

Valentine's Day roses 🙂
Not a polish per se, but linear holographic powders always blow people’s minds.
I am a trained singer and actor and I love musical theatre! Both performing and teaching/directing ❤️🎶🎭
I get constant questions about my nail care routine and I always give the same answer: I don’t really have a nail care routine 🤷♀️ But what really changed the game for me was going vegan 🌱 I used to have pretty weak nails that were constantly breaking and peeling like crazy, it was actually keeping me from starting a nail art account on Instagram, but as soon as I changed my diet, it was like night and day. Now my nails only break if I accidentally smash them into something (which does happen every now and then… 🙈) and I’ve forgotten what it’s even like to have nails that peel. And drink lots of water! Hydrated nails are happy nails 💧
