Your real name and Instagram handle:
Where are you from?
The Sunshine State, AKA Florida! :)
What got you into doing nails?
That’s a good question! I’ve always loved nail polish so I think that was a major factor! I didn’t really do nail art until I was about 16 I think. My mom had an Instagram and would show me amazing nail art would say, “You can do that!” so I kind of wanted to try. Eventually I joined Instagram and slowly joined the wonderful world of nail art! So, I guess the real answer is a combination of my mom’s encouragement and Instagram inspiration!
Your favorite kind of nail art design to do?
I LOVE floral nail art and just things that are tropical! I think I enjoy those the most along with Christmas nail art. When it’s a holiday season for nail art there are just SO many possibilities and I love doing more detailed looks.
A nail polish shade you couldn’t live without?
This is such a hard one! I guess the best answer would be white though. I use it for so much! Its an essential for anyone who loves to do nail art!
Other nail artist(s) you admire?
One of your all-time favorite manicures you have ever done?
It changes all of the time in all honesty but right now I am really loving this one from last summer!
Which polish do you get the most compliments on when you wear it?
I don’t think there is a particular shade but I think people notice the most and compliment when I am wearing a crème with nail art on top!
What do you like to do besides nail art?
Besides nail art I love working on all things blog/YouTube related because, well I honestly just love it all. If it’s a complete day that I can do anything I want though, the answer is BEACH! J
Are there any tips you would like to share about nail care?
Oooo, interesting question! I do have one but it’s weird so beware. Its not something that everyone will think is a great idea but for me I think it’s a major help. That all being said my nail care tip is… Don’t cut your nails! I know that sounds weird and all but I haven’t cut my nails in year but as you all notice my nails aren’t super long. When they are getting long I file them. Basically, any time I paint my nails I file them beforehand just so they can stay the same length. Yet this is a bit time consuming but I think it’s really helpful. I know sometimes when you cut your nails it can make them weaker so I feel like cutting that step out completely, no pun intended, has really made a big difference. Plus you also will have more control over your length and nail shape!
